Jobs for Non-Certificated Instructional Personnel

Charter (and other public) schools sometimes hire "non-certificated instructional personnel"; individuals who possess expert skill in or knowledge of a particular subject or talent but do not hold a Florida teaching certificate. Some examples of a non-certificated instructional position are an electrical technician, chef, software developer, auto mechanic.

School district or charter school board may adopt policies to allow schools to utilize services of expert persons in appropriate instructional capacities. You will need to contact the charter school directly to learn if employment opportunities exist for non-certificated instructional personnel.
